any1 able to gimme a hand on the power aura for mages arcane /fire/frost/frostfire maybe nice for the rest of us mages .....trying to set up a aura for my arcane blast spel buff but only seems to be give warning that i used it and it is not giving me the stacked numbers

I've not gotten round to using Power Auras. Still have ebb configured to show my stacks.

I have some at home that I'll post later.

My arcane blast is done the following way:

I have four seperate auras that each light up a new icon (they are placed next to each other in a little row horizontally).

Each aura is triggred as follows:
The debuff name I look for is "Arcane Blast" - (I think its a debuff which sometimes tricks people)
I allow that in combat and search for the debuff on me (not on the target)
For each of the four icons I look for Stack=1, Stack=2, Stack=3, Stack=4

ON screen I see this

   O                                                        1 Stack
   O  O                                                    2 Stacks
   O  O  O                                                3 Stacks
   O  O  O  O                                            4 Stacks

When I get a missile barrage I get a large icon above the whole row to remind me to fire it off on the fourth stack

Unfortunately due to latency and barrage mechanics if Mbarr procs on stack 4 its easy to miss and end up using a fifth A-Blast to fish for the proc

you know that in Power Auras 3.0 and higher you can show stacks as a number? Tongue

i'll export my fire mage setup later when i'm done with daily randoms and VoA's (it's themed much like most of my other setups)

Yes, you know that reading a number takes more time than reading a meter created with 4 icons  Tongue

Actually I started like that but found it difficult to read in the heat of combat with lots of aoe and liked the more iconic display more, individual mileage may vary ofc.

One thing i have been thinking of is ditching the 1 and 2 stack icons as basically you only really need 3 and 4 as an arc mage

ok awesome ty people in the arcane case i finaly been able to set up a aura for the arcane blast but realy like the fire aura too for my off spec
