Just some general comments, I think these were discussed on Vent at the time but good to have them set down on the forums.

1) Kill order. We need everyone to know what the adds do, how to handle them and what order they die in.
1) a) Burst DPS. We need it, and we need a lot of it for this.

2) Healing the dragon - Cycling all the healers through while we learn is good (thus avoiding the "we only have 2 priests who know how to tank Raz" problem). Need some practice for people to get used to maintaining - and growing - a portal stack for massive heals with infinate mana. This is not a linear fight, as we improve, our healers will continue to ramp up and the fight will get faster and faster as we close in on 100%.

3) Coordination. It's going to be crucial.

I mentioned it during the end of the raid but ranged can stand in a position where they can reach both sides the advantage of doing this is that you can help with anything that needs doing. e.g. killing blazing mages fast and aoeing the worms

What about trying this:

Split the raid into two groups and assign each group a side to kill/control adds.

Have all ranged sit inbetween the two sides (around the head area) where they should be able to nuke the skelly of doom as soon as it emerges.

Once the skelly is dead return to dpsing assigned side.

Only useful input I can think of is Coordination really as Nari mentioned, when people were aware of the Blazing's they went down pretty fast, think I saw one die before or near enough just as it began channeling its spell.

Having the healers grp up and move in a clockwise movement around the boss collecting gas clouds when inside the portals will help give them all stacks as the clouds give anyone nearby the buff not just the closest person.

that's what i tried to tell you on our 10 man try in the weekend...
the tactic i heard about was to have 1 healer outside for the raid and 3 healers inside (yes 4 healers), and all 3 move as a group to get all the stacks
not sure how that scales up to 25 man, but the same inside idea still stands as a good idea: keep together and get buffs together

Tankspots guide

http://www.tankspot.com/showthread.php?62722-Icecrown-Valithria-Dreamwalker

I notice that in some circumstances ranged DPS will fire on mobs the "other side" other than that this is pretty much the tactic and setup we used last night

It's a fun and interesting fight for healers.  I had no problems with the first two portals, stacked up to 16 I think.  If the raid is taking a lot of damage, it's very easy to be a second or two late entering the portals and so easy to drop the stack, but if a numpty like me can basically get the tactics on first attempt I think nailing it shouldn't be too difficult.

Moving as a group when collecting gas clouds sounds like an excellent idea.

Reading the strat on Bosskillers, they say that getting the Suppressors down as the very highest priority is vital, even above Blazing Skeletons.
