We're likely to have to put the price of all flasks up - I will discuss with Thor what the best price would be later tonight basically we will readjust somewhere in the 10-20g range

I dont want people feeling its prohibitively expensive to use flasks; but the price of lotus is currently 55g - 60g+ so material cost for each flask is around 31-32g and we get an extra 10%-20% on procs depending on luck.

Since we have not run ulduar much recently we dont get the freya freebies (both flasks and herbs) and we also have not had any BoE drops to sell for a long time. Back during Ulduar we were selling BoE items regularly for 4-5K which really helped keep the price of flasks down. If we do have to raise the price there is a strong chance they will come down in price if we get any items to sell.

The asga bank still has 65k gold but we need to keep a decent buffer of 50K or so just in case the AH goes really wild for a prolonged period or we get a raid tier with no BoE drops. A few months ago we were at 95K so we have spent a lot recently

Maybe an idea to not sell any flasks outside of raids? People forget how many herbs it takes to make 20 flasks and order them too fast without realising this. You could also distribute the needed flasks at the start of a raid. I know it's too much of a hassle to have 1 man do it so maybe an idea to hand out a number of flasks to 1 role leader, say 6 flasks to one of the healers and let them distribute it amongst eachother. Can do the same with the gold, let the one that gets multiple flasks pay for it and he/she will get money back from the others that pay him/her the correct gold amount.

20 flasks barely last me a week if we're raiding 25 mans 4x and 1 or 2 10 mans per reset. I know how many herbs it takes to make flasks. I grind enough of them when I can for the bank. Ive spent about 6 hours+ this weekend just getting herbs to send off.

Trouble being in these times of " I must get all my chars decked out in tier 10", the choice being when you have to time to log is .......do i run the daily randoms with all my alts or do i do some grinding of herbs to send to the bank or do some fishing for the bank. What wins? May be a mare to administer but how about a small dkp bonus for those who do send frost lotus and other herbs to the bank or supply fish. Maybe it would encourage more to help to keep the supply up.

Sadly this could never work. I'm not suggesting in any way that people would do this but there is always the possibility someone might just buy stuff from the AH and send it in for extra dkp

I know it's probley not something we want to do but it may be worth selling off one of the PS a week as they currently go for 2k a pop which would help massivly with the money coming in and out of the bank. I know this would hinder the creation of some crafted items but with 2 frost emblems avalible daily we could ask people to provide one of the 5 SP they need to make the item there after or if people are in such a rush they could grind a few of there own and get the rest from the bank at a reduced rate.
