Didn't wanna run off in the guild app thread but:

Quick and nasty table showing which Guilds have what menbers II would be the second largest guild after TV so within our guild sizes really
what that cant show though is how many will actually raid with us i mean TV has 85 members how many actually raid with us
and more importantly where are you HIDING ALL YOUR SHAMMYS !! you have 12 !! same with IG and all your Warlocks Sad

Hehe they must all be hiding behind the guild sofa! Seriously tho Miggy is the only main char Shammy we have, and Rhu & Synt have left the game. I was thinking the other day tho that I'ma have another gentle nudge with our lot in our next guild meeting, see if we can't get some more peeps signing up for raids. Trouble (if you can call it that  Wink) is that peeps just seem happy enough levelling and questing, hence a tonne of 70's and not many raiding - we only have 40 odd accounts in guild!
I am hopeful too that a few of the (currently inactive) vets with ASGA in TV will be returning in the not too distant future, so this should help too.

On a personal note, I'm slowly trying to convince myself to sign up for some raids - but I'm totally torn between whether to stick with my hunter (who I've invested three years with), or my shammy (which I believe I lack experience with). I figured I'd wait and see what changes the expansion brings, and in the meantime I don't think you're short of a hunter or two  Wink

up to you m8 Smiley
play whatever your happier with Smiley
if your shammy has the gear to apply for r2r sign up with him Smiley if not look for some groups to help gear him up Smiley
or be like me and dont sign up much at al and just get all your alts r2r2 Tongue
well thats the plan (the ones on aggramar anyway)
but seriously sign up with shammy (assuming he isnt in greens "of complete shi.te")
i cant see anyone screaming at you if your making mistakes
and if your shamy is dps class its not like you can die quicker than EmoMiggy or Swiftnub  Lol Lol Tongue

would now be a good time for one of the leaders to point out each pf the different classes R2R1/2/3 requirements to the new guilds?  They might not have seen them and it would be better they know before they (possibly) join in case some of their members object.

are r2r rules really that odd (outside the ASGA) that nobody else uses them?

Mostly those rules wouldnt apply as it would be single guilds that are raiding and they could easily say whether someone should raid at whatever level etc.  Because in ASGA there are numerous guilds, R2R was set up to create a standard to stop "just anyone" from joining a guild then signing up.

I would guess that very few guilds use an R2R system.

Yeah most raiding guilds seem to use the gear part as part of their recruiting process, they go "they've got lots of epics, they can join"
