credit goes to Pet, copied from lock forums..

One warlock in the raid will be assigned the task of enslaving and using the demon pet of the boss "Olm the Summoner".

- It seems the best tactic is to position yourself with the main tanks at the beginning of the pull and move up towards Olm when the pull begins.

- Olms first act is to summon a 'Wild Fel Stalker'. You should enslave this asap as it will usually head straight for the healers. NOTE the enslave CAN be resisted.

- The Wild Fel stalker has 3 abilities as shown below:

  • Attack - Does 1500 - 5000 Melee Damage. Casting Time: Instant. Range: 10 yd. Cooldown: 5 sec. Autocast
  • Determination: "Removes all negative effects from the caster." Casting Time: Instant. Range: Self. Cooldown: 10 sec.
  • Threaten: Produces great amount of Threat on a single Target. Range: 20 yd.

- I created two macros to help me in this fight...

  • /target wild fel stalker
  • /target olm the summoner

- These allowed me to target the pet the instant it was summoned. Enslave it. Then target Olm immediately and set the pet to attacking him.

- Try and save the taunt ability for when the warrior tanking Olm is deathcoiled, timed right it can help prevent Olm running off after healers.

- Determination should be used to remove the 'Dark Decay' DoT that Olm places on the Wild Fel Stalker.

- This is a VERY shard intensive fight. I would recommend coming with at least thirty shards as you will use 3-5 per fight, possibly more.

Secondary to Olm the Summoner, CoT should be cast on the Priest Ogre, CoW on Maulgar and CoE on Mage Ogre however where there is only 1 lock in the raid no-one will expect you to do all this: priority should go to Olm > Maulgar > Priest > Mage.

Don't know how important it is now that we've all geared up a bit, but tanks and healers like CoW to be kept up on the high king - seems to make a big difference to his damage output (or at least it used to).

Added, plus CoT on the priest.

Added.

While I'm sure it's helpful, it's not necessary, same as CoT on priest and Cow on Maulgar.  A locks main responsibility in this fight is the Lock add's pet, everything else is secondary.

I've usually stuck the first Felhunter on the priest, to help ensure a quick takedown, as that often seems to be a key in this. He usually kills it quite quick, but as I've single often been the only warlock in the raid, it has sometimes required a banish of the second spawn. Takes a bit more add-juggling, but if your team is sloppy with the interrupts, it does makes a difference in bringing the priest down.....and it adds a bit more thrill to being on enslave duty Wink

I've been using used the following targetting macros:

/stopcasting
/cleartarget
/target Wild Fel Stalker
/cast Enslave Demon

/stopcasting
/cleartarget
/target Wild Fel Stalker
/cast Banish

They are similar to those of Aoife, but I have chosen to have a banish ready as well.
The first line will interrupt any spellcast in progress.
The second line clears your current target, as I've some times experienced that the macro, quite inexplicably,  didn't work after I've enslaved the first Fel Stalker
