It seems to be the usual problem of lacking signups in the summer.

Last year and the year before at this time was the same.

Bring on the rain and cold.

If people don't bother to sign because they don't need any gear on their mains, we don't want to reward them by gearing their alts. Not before we start making full out alt runs, which can have a high percentage of alts in it.

Considering that alts only get to bid when mains don't want it, I don't see this as a real problem to be honest. Otherwise it's just DE food.
Speaking for myself: I have plenty of upgrades still to grab from ICC25, so unless it's a quick swap to grab Rotface's blood or to fill in for a lack of tanks you won't see me signing up with an alt anytime soon. I've just had some ear problems lately that prevented me from playing last week; it's getting better though.

I have mixed opinion on alts - i fear the exception becoming the rule.
If we're short of geared mains for a particular role i see no problem in bringing an alt. If the alt can do comparable dps to the main, i see no problem bringing the alt. Both subject to the usual main > alt loot priority.

What i do have problems with is people only signing up if they can bring an alt, or swapping out 5 different people for each boss. What starts out as an idea to improve signups i can see very shortly causing aggro about increasing the time taken for runs, or even more trouble trying to get a balanced run.

Certainly for stuff like fester/rot blood, we could do a raffle/dkp auction on the forum if theres many that want it for alts - set a 100dkp min bid or something, require the alt to do at least 7k dps raid buffed, and see how it goes.

And to be honest, we still have problems with fights like putri/BQL/sind, so unless your alt outgears/dpses your main there should be no place for them there.

In an ideal world there'd be no one who stops signing as soon as they've got all the gear their main needs - but there is a slight element of preaching to the converted here as everyone that's commented so far has signed up as often as they can anyway Smiley

Personally i'm also not a fan of trying for RS25 (supposed LK25 difficulty although likely a bit easier) while we've still got stuff as easy as valithria up in icc25, but i can understand that people might want a change of scenery.

This I would certainly support. I would gladly pay some DKP to get my hands on shadow's edge, and my alt's dps is quite competitive. This of course only if there are no mains needing that blood in the raid.

I have added everyone that signed to the current Ruby Sanctum list - it was getting late and we had 25 so easy to do.

Please try to look at some tactics first (e.g. tankspot) and be prepared to listen on vent to the tactics - we will cover P1 and P2 at first and deal with P3 when we get close to having 23-25 alive at 50%

The fight is somewhat complex but can be managed comfortably provided people pay attention to their surroundings and move fast when they have debuffs.

hmm good idea - I cant see anyone being too unhappy at losing 3 emblems (clearing last week took us 1hr15 mins)

that extra time could be the diff between a kill or not or maybe even a kill+2-3 ICC bosses

Just wondering even with extending though we'll still have trash to clear anyway but I guess we won't any issues with the mini bosses
